The software this blog and millions of other blogs use to publish is Typepad, run by Six Apart, based on its Movable Type platform. In more than two years, I have few complaints - especially as an erstwhile analyst/commentator whose modest output hardly taxes the system. It's great. But listen Six Apart: just do everything Bruno suggests. You will put your company in a stronger position, possibly able to head off the open source competition and make it to the next round. [Further, read what Fred has to say as well]. Typepad should be a first-mover, not second or third - yeah, it hosts millions but if it doesn't get out front with features and the open structure bloggers want, it's gonna end up like WordPerfect. Update: Mark Pincus wants your help moving off Typepad.
